re: Hannigriff and Ott having a spat about the off week

Why would you NOT self scout and try to discover your own hidden tendencies during the week off.

You know Bama has their entire team of analysts look at every formation, substitution package and play we run.

You can bet if we don’t break tendency Bama will have a damn good idea what play we are running before each snap.

The last several years have proven that.

Well for one Alabama won’t let us off the hook for the kind of mistakes we’ve made in half our games this season. As good as we’ve been we’ve also been pretty sloppy for long stretches at times as well.

Did they say how much emphasis needed to be on improving Special Teams?

I’m going to probably see Hanny in the poker room this weekend, I’ll ask him about bringing special teams up next week with Orgeron.

I’m sure Lsu will self scout. But as far as changing much I would say no. Les was the worst about putting too much emphasis on this game. It seemed to make the team and staff tight as a Nuns pu$&%#. O puts an emphasis on the game because the local media and fan base forces it onto him. But how O’s teams bounced back unlike Les’s teams tells me he doesn’t make it the end all be all game.
