Will you please stop saying 'Woody?' It's almost as bad as your incessant "Jeaux" and "Burreaux" nonsense. Become an adult.

What are talking about I’ve been saying so what to this all night,

You seem to think this remote possibility of him up and leaving is some huge gaff or risk for TAMU and I’m saying it doesn’t matter, it’s not that complicated

quote:

If he's not winning titles in 5 years, A$M will eat the 28-35 million buyout, or highly encourage him to look elsewhere. He's s contract is fully guaranteed though. They aren't investing that much for anything less.

I also said several posts back that the only downside for TAMU is if he fails. Maybe trying reading instead of trying to come up with some zinger

quote:

Either way, with Woodward gone, I don't see Jimbo and the Aggies as a long term relationship

That’s fine but there’s no rational reason to think that unless he never does better than 7-5,8-4 that Sumlin was doing.

He can't. Just like he calls people he disagrees with Otis and all that nonsense.

He just likes to stir up stuff. His posts are laughable. He tries to pretend he knows everything about college football but he contradicts himself all the time.

If you ask Syracuse to choose between Dino Babers and the HC here, they pick Babers every day out of the week. Hell, I think the majority of LSU fans pick Babers.

Maybe so, Babers was 10-3 in a weak league, and is 18-19 overall at Syracuse. Babers' '19 recruiting class ranked 54th

You REALLY dislike Orgeron! LOL

I don’t think O had a vision for the offense. 1 day he said he wanted an RPO uptempo, then run out I with more WR sets. Finally he settled on “I want to run the USC offense from early 2000s”.

That's his vision I guess. It's several different concepts all cobbled together into some weird hodgepodge. This is still how he operates his offense.

While I'll agree the ACC isn't as strong as the SEC, Babers is a damn good coach. He beat Clemson two years ago and almost did again this past season.

He's turned that program around from being a doormat to a program that deserves respect, pretty quickly.

The Syracuse game we had in 2017 was uncomfortably close.

I think I'm much more in tune with how people that follow college football think. Babers is actually the hot name that you think our head coach is. Everywhere he's been he's made better. That's what ADs want to see.

His record is what it is because he's taken over bad programs and made them good. Our guy took over a bad program and it stayed bad. He took over a good program and it's still good. That's what he is thus far, he's kept the wheel steady but hasn't shown the ability to elevate a program.

I don't dislike anyone brother. Just calling it like I see it.

The absolute wrong guy. The guy who called 73 passes against fricking Purdue and lost. Which cost Ohio St a slot in the playoffs. THAT guy.

Meyer made it clear in the final press conference that he was willing to stay as HC, but would delegate more. Nope. Day wanted full autonomy. fricking moron.

I'm not interested in your opinion of the man. Who's the HC there?

So if Meyer was to blame for handing the keys to his OC, why is he now an assistant athletic director at the same place he was coaching at? Seems like if a HC is to blame, even partially, he wouldn't climb to a higher ranking position at the same university. Or, in a different way, if the OC was to blame, why is he now the HC at the same university?

There's the white flag. Painted yourself into a corner again, eh?

Why would I continue to talk about someone at Ohio State on an LSU message board?

I'm pointing out something very similar has happened here at LSU but either you haven't picked up on it or simply don't want to address it.

Yeah. Screw him for wanting to step out of Meyer's shadow and make his own way through the sweat of his own brow.

The insolence!

Lol, your opinion of HCs revolve 100% around whether they start Burrow?

O started Burrow: think you e got a good one

Day starts a 1st round draft pick: fricking Moron.

How dare the OC call plays for the offense. I mean what nerve!

The guy makes no sense in his posts then when he gets pointed out to simple stuff that normal football fans already know, he turns into the child he is.

Insolence is precisely the word. Meyer had the highest winning percentage in major college football when Day shoved him aside. He's a half-wit. No way we beat Mich this year. And Ohio State has a ton of talent.
