I've also become a big fan of Coach O. He's piling up some serious talent. And is savvy enough to bring in staff who can run leading edge schemes. He's the real deal, IMO.
The coach's ability to recruit talent is well documented. He got great players at OM.

I mean I am Excited about the offense this year I am Going to give O credit for being willing to make changes. But I am not in love with the trial and error method of finding an offensive identity.
not sure it is a trial and error, I think it has been an incrementally implemented offense as personnel and abilities have been added. I think O knew where he wanted the off to head, but had to get the pieces in place....they may not all be in place and as any good coach does, there will always be tweaks.

The offense ended so well last year that we are changing it, again. I hope Brady is a great addition. How many years of experience does he have being a passing game coordinator?
Just wait it out

I think He was on the warm seat because he wasn’t beating Alabama, wasn’t competing for championships yearly AND not making the changes he needed to to do so.
He probably would still be here if he still beating Bama every once and a while and definitely if he was still seriously competing for championships.
If he changes the offense and did neither i don’t think he is here if if he is keeping his promise to the boosters.
Which is why O needs to beat Bama and start competing for championships.

I am Gonna to just say nothing about his hiring process makes me think that.
Brady is the first person he hired who has ANY experience in this kind of offense.
And hiring a piece meal transitional coaching staff that you slowly replace with different style coaches is not a recipe for success

No thanks Waffle Jeaux. That sounds like something you're prone to do.

So, hiring Canada was a part of this process?

Just wait it out at this point no one is convincing anyone.
I have to have a little fun with someone that says people that want to wait and see aren't knowledgeable and also won't give O credit.

I'll just flip the script. Had miles relented on his old school offense and developed a QB he would have been 4-0 in 2016, 100%
His offense was the problem. It was going to doom him one way or another.
Flip it the other way: Very few people would care about the offense if O had a better 2012-2015 and was 4-0 in 2016.
People got picky because we weren't performing. No one cares about a "outdated offense" if the outdated offense was a part of winning games.

What a huge relief, I thought we needed to win games but as long as we pass for a bunch of yards the season will be a success according to simple Joe.

It hasn’t been working so far.
I dont Thinking we have a good offense this year you can say “see this process worked!”
I think I would say “Why the frick did we hire Canada and Ensminger?”
But really I’ll probably say “if it works it works.”
It’s like JA hiring Will Wade
We can argue about whether he deserves credit after 2 failed BB hires or if Nunez deserves credit.
End of the day I am Just happy the basketball team is good.
I’ll argue about how much Credit Joe deserves for hiring Wade or O deserves for hiring Brady.
But overall I am Happy if the results are good.

“6 or 7 years? exaggerate much”
See, even you think your posts are ridiculous when someone else posts them.

Yeah, it's absurd. The highlight of today was that Buckeye says that Miles would still have been fired in 2016 even if he were 4-0 with the same offense.
I don't even think they believe the nonsense that they're typing out. They just get stuck on the wrong side of these arguments and don't have the common sense to just exit quickly. They just keep digging their hole deeper and deeper.

WEll if you really think that Miles would have been fired after a 4-0 start in 2016 you are just plain stupid...
NOW do the boosters have some power??? YES.. However.. Miles should have been fired after the 2015 season.. He went into the Bama game that year with the #2 BCS rated team and got crushed three straight games and barely got by a crappy A & M team to finish the regular season.
Yet he was NOT fired... Then he went 2-2 to start 2016 and got canned.... Did his offense become predictable and stagnant?? Sure... But IF he would have went 4-0 to start 2016 he would have held on to his job at least to that point...…
These are just flat out facts......
