wrong. Canada was hired to bring a passing game to LSU. Instead, he fielded a team that threw the ball less than any power-5 team in the nation in his first 4 games (when he was given more of a free hand)

Spin it any way you want, Canada fricked over Orgeron AND LSU.

No it isn't. O has come out and named the two players. I'm not going to argue with you about it because it's already been out in the public domain.

“He was supposed to be bringing an elite passing game. He did the opposite.”

He had the 3rd highest passer rating in LSU history? He set the record for 40+ yard passing plays, his QB threw 2 INTs and he did all that with a coach who neutered his offense, 1 legitimate SEC WR and a freshman Oline who last season with a full years worth of experience got all the blame from you and your pals over the lackluster offense. Once again you have no idea what you’re talking about, you just lob false accusations and statements you make up in your head that have no shred of reality to them.

Your info on Canada doesn't move the needle at all.

It isn't my info.

The info you have commented on 40 times in this thread. Does that make you feel better?

The point is that the Canada happenings aren't meaningful at this stage.

Err if the HC took over after game three per the OP, why do you keep saying Canada set records?

Are you disagreeing with the OP?

It’s hard to follow your argument.

If it happened to the extent that Hanny said then it is 100% meaningful at this stage IMO. Coach O forced an offense on his OC at Ole Miss by his own admission, then by his own admission he made Cananda at the very least tweak his offense. Last year he had Ensminger build the offense he wanted and now a young hot shot assistant is coming in to run another new offense. Are you confident that there won't be more limiting of the offense if things start out rough at the beginning of the season?

Yes the OP didn’t make a statement he asked a question. After the Troy game Canada was given more freedom not before, until the bowl game.

My biggest concern is that O will coach scared if things start going south. Hopefully we won’t see that happen again, but it seems like O isn’t secure enough to stick with an aggressive plan at the first sign of adversity. The worst thing you can do when you get punched in the mouth is to go max protect, but it’s happened every time.

My hope is that he realizes that this 3rd year is his "show me" year like we've all been saying and that he will stay aggressive.

You are now showing your true colors. You are a balls-to-the-wall O-Basher. That's OK. We can live with that.

But that Fair-Minded-Seeker-of-the-Truth act really has to go. THAT is nauseating.

Idk why anyone would be so naive to think that the HC would not have the final say so in what offense we run and who runs that offense. The fans that are concerned with this are biased bc they don’t want and never did want O as the coach. It’s ultimately the HC decision and that is why he was hired...the AD is not the assistant HC. Canada’s offense wasn’t the offense any fans really wanted, at least I hope not. All the signs point to us having an offense we haven’t had in over a decade. But y’all can continue crying for about 3-4 mos so knock yourselves out

Now that you mention it the argument can be made that the offense was really coach O's offense since he had taken over and all. I never figured O for an elite OC but I guess he deserves credit.

What did he do exactly that cost us on offense against A&M? We scored 70+ fn points.

You idiot, 70+ points after a bunch of overtime sessions from the 25-yardline each time is hardly a feat.

Besides, the point is O's scaredy-cat decision-making late in regulation is the reason we ended up tied and in overtime. You go for the juggler and put the game away on offense!! What did O do? Same thing Les would've done, chickensh*t runs and a cloud of dust and punt.

Why that also means that it was O's offense that scored on bama. I'll be damned. O turned out to be a pretty decent OC after all.

Lol hey man if you’re willing to expose yourself this way good for you but you’re proceeding from a false premise. So all you’re doing is looking like a hypocrite for no reason other than to look like one on purpose.
