If true...this may be the beginning of the end for Crowton. Gonzo may be the OC next year.

I am all for a punishing ground game but you need a downfield passing attack ability to make it work against a good team.

I like how he put it. "We're LSU, we're gonna come at your, we're going to keep coming at you. May throw a little bit run somethin fancy to keep you honest, but other then that saddle up cause we're comin at you."

It's how Miles wants to play, it's how he wants to win. I think we put Lee in, see what he can do if he can pass well, help us out we gonna have a strong year!

no doubt miles was calling the plays tonight in the second half. we looked a little better too. more consistent.

but overall both suck as OC.

turn on Gordy and Charlie's postgame show. They are blasting Miles for this play calling. Saying "no way does this offense work against any SEC opponent left on the schedule." Said "we will get killed by Miss. St. b/c they will stack the box and force Jefferson to throw."
They are calling for Lee to play next week.

Look, we have known Miles was in the playcalling since 2005. In fact, like a previous poster said, 2006 at Auburn was a prime example of a coordinator "clash of the titans" between Miles and Fisher - ultimately what sent Fisher scrambling for a lateral move to FSU.

I think he left to get what he has now. A HC job at a solid program. Can't blame him because he was not going to get that at LSU.

we also need a QB who can deliver on down field throws. we don't have that at present.

Crowton is an fing abortion with all that cute shite. He sucks. Miles is doing the right thing to save his job. Pull the plug on jj and he just might be our coach next year

Agreed. Crowton has GOT to go. Has to. That running JJ shite, option all that HAS to stop. I really hope Miles just decided to knock that shite off and take over and call the plays.

Gonzo and GC were silent when Les was communicating with them after that INT.
