Exactly, but the more I learn about JA the more im convinced he shys away from confrontation.

Take a step and just think of how coaching works. Even more so how their agents work.
If you don't think another p5 schools coach/agent reached out for an interview, even if just to get an extension or raise at their current program, then we can't and shouldn't begin to attempt a logical conversation.
If you believe no successful p5 coach in America had any interest in LSU job, then bless your heart. You've got it made in this world.

Who are all these other coaches Alleva failed to interview, yet reached out to LSU.
With most of a "search" having to take place behind closed doors during the season, how in the hell is half this thread about Alleva's lack of a search. How do all of you KNOW he talked to no one else or no other agents? I mean, does half this forum have Alleva's landline tapped? access to his cell? Hacked into the network to know when he Skypes or FaceTimes agents? There's a whole lot of presumption and purely fabricated "takes" in this thread.
Truth is none of us will EVER know. How many did Alleva talk to? We don't know. How many might have said we don't like your SJW president and former Governor interfering? We don't know.

Man you have to understand, that the man who wanted to be here was not the coach with the best qualifications for this job. Remove emotion out of and honestly ask yourself. Who is more qualified for this job. Herman by a long mile.

Not that ges wrong, but once Strong was fired, THERE WAS NO DEAL TO MAKE WITH HERMAN!
AND....Jimbo wouldn't have kept Aranda.
Not saying we have the best coach of the 3, but we damn sure got the best situation.
We keep our recruiting base, we keep the top DC, and we save 3 million to hire an OC, give raises, etc.

Pretend any other p5 university besides LSU hired the interim DL coach from the staff of the HC they fired due to lack of offensive production.

He acts like he knows more than EVERYBODY and he didn't hit on Fisher being the coach. He got fooled and is talking it out on the LSU admins for making the wrong hire.....

Peej you are dumb. One 10-2 season is meaningless. You hire a coach to sustain long term success. Mike dubose won an sec championship in 1999. Got fired the next year. Coker won a national championship with the previous coaches team...then ran Miami into the dirt for good.
