Topwater Trout, you do know who CLM's agent is, right? Jimmy Sexton. Saban's agent. For whom Sexton has done this every yr since Saban's been his client. This is what Sexton does for all his clients, which is why he has so many of the great college coaches as his clients. Do you honestly think CLM went to him out of the blue & told Sexton to try & get him some more money?

miles has been with george bass as far as i know. don't think he's ever used sexton.

I think the issue with OL is belief. Do they believe in what we are doing?

we couldn't get a push and had NO short passing game to counter the pressure
they saw the same thing vs. Arkansas and we can expect it from here on out this season. we have to spread teams out and the kids have to believe in what we are doing and teaching. so, part of this is coaching, scheme and game planning and part of this is executing. This week, Harris will be under all kinds of pressure. We better figure out how to throw a slant or screen pass in a hurry. We match up better vs. TAMU.

This seems to be the defacto thread with at least some actual discussion going on so I'll ask here:
Has anyone heard anything about he players rallying around Miles. In the past in these situations the players have come out very passionately in defense of him both in things you heard and in their play. This one seems kind of different in that I'm not hearing anything along those lines.

As it was said.....OOPS ! But same message goes for Bass. All agents do this for their clients. Sexton just sets the bar. Don't forget, every time an agent gets his client a raise, his commission goes up. Rip CLM for a lot of things but this whole Arkansas thing is a bogus issue.
