Today, Hailey was En Fuego as she scored 26 points in 37 minutes.
She shot:
50% Field (9/18)
80% 3pfg (4/5)
100% FT (4/4)

She hit some amazing shots in the decisive 4th quarter when we needed it most. The 26 points were a season high and she also tied her season high with 7 boards, which she did for the 3rd time this season. She had 7 rebounds vs VAN & FLA also. As a team. LSU out rebounded TN 51 - 43, including 22 on the offensive end.

Finally she had 0 turnovers today, which has only happened one other time this season (vs Alabama). As a team, LSU only turned the ball over 6 times.

Hopefully, Hailey can keep hitting clutch shots and become Hailey Van Swish on the court.

Not bad considering she’s a PG and at 5’-7” is within 1” for being shortest player on either team’s roster.

Is she actually a PG? What did she play at Louisville?

Irrelevant. She played SG at UL and seems more comfortable there, but here except the few minutes she’s sharing the court with Poa she’s playing PG.

My point was that it’s impressive when a PG has a lot of boards since they’re typically the farthest from the goal when the shot goes up.

Did she play PG in this particular game? (I didn’t watch) I saw a quote from Mulkey saying Van Lith played off guard in this one, or did she mean both?

Poa played 17 min. When Poa isn’t on the floor, HVL is running point.
