I read all the comments yesterday about the press conference, how you can't understand anything he says, how he threw everyone under the bus, didn't take responsibility blah blah blah.

Seriously???? I just had a chance to read the transcript, and I'd be happy to explain anything to you tards that you didn't understand. Please, post something that didn't make sense to you.

And also post something that indicates that he is throwing someone under the bus at any point.

I guess you want Miles to stay and that he will turn things around too.

Miles is the man. Coach of the year.

He didn't throw anyone under the bus during that PC. He was, however, somewhat incoherent at times (when you actually watched it). The real problem is that the stupid calls and "freshman" mistakes this team has and keeps making have finally come to a head. Many people will not give him one ounce of slack from this point forward.

I don't have a copy of the PC nearby, but if at any point he even came close to suggesting that he'd like for his QB to not take a sack when asked to throw from the shotgun TWICE when already in field goal range, than I'd call that tossing a player needlessly under the bus.

I agree...the bash Miles bandwagon is full and is the "cool" thing to do right now. About 95% of people here don't know shite about shite but they'll bash Miles because that's what everyone else is doing. It's like junior high in here.

Yep,its out of control right now. I'll be the first to admit the end of the Ole Miss game was inexcusable. Cannot defend that. But so many posters here have always loathed the guy, they are almost giddy to be able to just slam the guy, stretch the truth, create stupid avatars that make them look dumb, too.

The Tigers will destroy Arky this weekend, beat whatever Big XII team they get in the Cotton Bowl and come out next year in the preseason top 10. We'll be fine. I truly believe Miles is a new man after Saturday.

At least I hope so.

+1 as well.

I was quick to admit that thought I'd always been very supportive of Coach, that game was very poorly handled by him.. no excuse for it. period.

However, the fact that people on here are readily saying that they would gladly take losses to Arky and in bowl game just to make Miles look even worse it more of a testament to the state of the "Miles Bash-wagon"...

Tiger Voodoo..you'll never be able to get them to change their minds on what THEY believe...the posts right after the game solidified it...they took what someone posted as the gospel and have run with it. Sadly, it goes beyond even that.."I never wanted him as our coach".."I knew we were in trouble after the Monday night UT game"..etc...It's like cockroaches after the lights go out..everyone scrambling to get in on the action. Some jackass even suggested for someone to slash Mile's tires.

Perception is reality...they will believe only WHAT they choose to believe...

The OM is over and I'm looking forward to Arkansas. Miles took responsibility for the game and then team has acccepted it (Advocate article from today).

those "fans" are more stupid than the way they portray Miles. I admit, after Saturday if I were Alleva, we'd have a nice "fireside chat". Still,I'd never pull against LSU and any "LSU fan" who would sucks.

I'm done defending him and I think he should be replaced.

That being said, I do not think he threw anyone under the bus yesterday. I believe Miles took the blame and responsibility, as he should. Regardless, it did not instill any confidence that he can coach effectively, with discipline and execute a quality gameplan. He should be replaced.

I agree.

But you know what...at the same time there are a contingent of fans, like myself, that have supported Miles through thick and thin and gone out of our way to defend him and his program on places like here. Hell...I was doing just that as late as Saturday MID DAY right here. I've always taken the position that there is a group of LSU fans who have simply hated the guy for not being Nick Saban from the day he was hired and were hellbent on getting rid of him at all costs. I still believe that. And I think that some of the things that they pointed to very early on in his tenure have turned out to be correct (complete lack of time management skills and a woeful lack of control over the sidelines in terms of organization) but I think they were accidentally right. No one knew that THEN...it was a guess based on disliking the guy.

But after Saturday even I can no longer defend some of the things that occured, and it makes you go back and take a second look at some of the objections others have had...and the only thought I'm left with is that I feel like the last person in the kingdm to realize the emporer has no clothes.

All that being said, I like Les Miles. I do. I think he's a solid, but highly suspect coach. I like many many things he's done with the program in terms of recruiting, etc. But my faith that the last two seasons worth of slide were completely the result of not having RP and having to break in 2 new QB's is gone. My faith that Miles is the man to lead LSU into contuned and regained success is gone. And even BEFORE Saturday, I was begining to question whether or not LSU football would continue to be fun to watch due in large part to those fans who simply hated the guy and were making it damn near impossible for the rest of us to enjoy a game.

I'm not sure what you call me now...but I support the program and wish there was an easy answer. I wish Miles was the guy, but I just can't see how this has a happy ending at this point. Until then I'll continue to support the team, and be in my seats an hour & a half before kick off like always. I'll saty until the band finishes playing and won't boo...anyone in purple & gold. And I'll hope for the best...

Name one coach in any sport in any country at any level you respect who has pulled more crap like that at the end of games. This is not an isolated event, this is the norm with Miles.

I hope you're right. But then again, Ive hoped for better week after week for two years running. If you take off the P&G glasses, it aint gonna change, Les will not change. He's stubborn, predictable, and fricking boring.

miles was very repetitive in his presser and the transcript doesn't reveal his rhythm, pauses, etc

what he said wasn't incoherent, but it came of as nonsense

I will still be satisfied if Miles just fires Crowton at the end of the season.

If what we're hearing is really true it's not Les it's Crowton. He's done.
