re: Had Orgeron ever coached from the sidelines as poorly as BK did on Saturday?

Lane Kiffin to O last year, "Coach, you haven't changed or adjusted your defense all season."
O "Yeah, I know."
Secondly, LSU played Ole Miss last year the week after Orgeron was fired. His coaches admitted that Noone did any prep for that game because they were all looking for their own future.
That is the main reason Ole Miss is a bit overrated this year as they wipped an LSU team who was reeling.
They regrouped and the defense was one of the best in the country by Bama.

Most definitely. Go back and watch UCLA, Ole Miss and Kentucky from last year. You'll need a bottle of Pepto Bismol close at hand.

Its not Kell"s fault bech muffed the damn kick
It didn't help moving him at the last second from one side to the other. That was poor coaching.

Orgeron looked thru the transfer portal and brought us Burrow Kelly went after Daniels Thats very, very concerning
Bush found Burrow dumbass. This is well-known. Just like Ensminger met and recommended hiring Brady. O got the credit, but like always, his staff had to do absolutely everything for him.
Who else was in the portal at QB this off-season? It’s not like we passed on a bunch of impact guys to take Daniels. Willams and Ewers were never possibilities here. Dart at OM is the only other guy we might have had a shot at, and I’m pretty sure he was already off the board before we started looking.
People forget that Kelly waited until Brennan was back on board and Howard was signed before considering taking a QB from the portal. If Daniels hadn’t entered after late, I’m pretty confident they would have just entered the season with Brennan, Nuss and Howard.

BK had a very good clue who Daniels was, because he recruited him to Notre Dame
He was the 2nd ranked dual threat QB in that fricking class and had offers from Bama, UGA, OSU, UF, Penn St, UT, A&M, UCLA and evidently us back in 2018, as well. You act like he was some bum recruit. 247 gave him a 2nd round draft eval. They were wrong, but they were fooled by his athletic ability and raw talent, just like several people on this board.
ND is not listed as making an official offer to Daniels on 247.

Nothing to do with the muff punt. Not likely that drive would of resulted in points haven’t all season

I think there were extenuating circumstances since we only had 5 or 6 healthy linemen.
I cant remember exactly but I'm pretty sure only Weathersby was rules out for that game.

Checking the participation report LINK I only see 2 players off the bench, Neil Farrell and DeAndre Clark. Gilmore, Logan, and Locouture started.
Not participating were: Fehoko, Thomas, Lawrence, Newsome, and Ed Alexander.
