If people actually knew shite about gymnastics they would know UCLA has probably been the most talented team in the country the entire past decade and continued to fall very short 99% of the time, the entire team is literally a national team filled with olympians

Its a frickn fact

But UCLA earned it today well deserved

I think UCLA definitely earned it but seems like we were underscored on so many scores.

Choking is what happened during Courville, Hall, and Jordan’s senior season when they didn’t make it to Super Six.

This performance today was not choking. If you haven’t paid attention all season, please do not come into these threads talking shite that you know nothing about.

Two perfect 10's... Unreal!
UCLA earned that one.
That last beam routine was phenominal.
Oh well

How many olympians are on the UCLA team? They definitely delivered under incredible pressure.

Most big schools have them. Ignore the Taurus types.

An absurd number. They should be the class of NCAA women’s gymnastics, if you look at the talent.

Because they stepped their game up, unlike teams that consistently don't.

I love this team too much because now I’m just sad and depressed. Will it ever happen for LSU?

I don't care what anyone else says it was a successful year.

We lost 3 all americans, one who was one of the best gymnasts in LSU history, one who was an all american on 2 events and another on anther two events.

Then we lose Mckenna Kelley, another all american and she was supposed to be in the vault lineup and anchor floor.

LSU used a lot of true freshman and sophomores and went undefeated in SEC and won the SEC Championship even though Florida returned every routine from the year before.

Sucks we couldn't win it this year but you are a dumbass if you call this a frickn choke job. Of course half the posters don't even follow this sport and just look at scores before making dumbass statements.

They have to improve the scoring system. It’s too political and inconsistent.

Highest score for the Tigers in Super Six, but still finshes 4th. Wow! Too bad we have had such great teams when everybody else does as well. These scores would have won multiple national championships in the past.

I’m sure this will get many down votes but I do actually wonder how much of our underscoring is due to DD. It seems that a lot of people don’t like her for whatever reason. Just a question, not a slam.

Not liking DD is not happening and is not the issue. Its a very political sport that probably isn't completely fair across the board. It favors certain names in this sport. I am not sayin LSU would have won today, we wouldn't have, but many of our scores were frickn bullshite.

Cannamela sticks her vault but can't muster a 9.9 while Kayla Ross is bouncing out of her vault and still scores higher. And Cannamela has top form on her vaults.

OU chick does a 1 1/2 and its completely short on rotation but takes a major hop backwards and still scores better than a 9.8625.

Gymnastics is an awesome sport but its very frustrating at times.

I mean you have the freaking gymcastic girl who is a HUGE UCLA fan actually tweet out that Sarah Finnegan should have got a 10 on floor and Sarah Edwards should have got a 10 on vault but no, our girls won’t get the 10’s. Those are saved for OU and UCLA only. I’m so beyond frustrated

I agree completely. You could see it coming yesterday. Know they're feeling pretty low right now after all the hard work they put in. But they Will be back.

Believe it or not I think LSU's team will be improved next year.

We have a few vaults that have been in the works for sometime for a 10.0 vault

Campbell and Dean are excellent bar workers but it was difficult to compete with a lineup like ours. Durante needs to be moved out the lead off, she is screwed in that spot

LSU's freshman class was ridiculously beat up earlier this season so none could expand their roles and pick up experience on other events

Campbell took a major transformation this back half of the season, she is just a phenomenal beam worker. LSU has a lot of options for beam next year but it will take time to develop experience.

Desiderio will no doubt be an all american on floor next year, it took her a while due to all the injuries but its one of her best events.

This freshman class will see a much expanded role next season. Plus there are some possible transfers in the works for next year. It will be hard to replace these seniors but every offseason we see tremendous transformations, we will be back
