Our worst Vault all season and we still get another 198 and win. Great meet to get the kinks out of our system

MSU has some really weak girls and some high scores. They are not a consistent team. How can they look soo bad and still keep it that close.

Half way through the first rotation, I knew that 2 of the sec teams were in trouble, just glad it wasn’t the us. Michigan st did very basic, low difficulty routines and stuck landing. Ky and AR did so much more difficult routines and did them well, but couldn’t overcome them keeping a sec out

I do not understand the low scores for Bryant on the floor. Her vault was a step but that is a 10 start value.
It is almost as if they have something out for her unless it is the cutting of the 3rd pass but that shouldn’t be a deductible. Her leaps are still unreal.

Her double front was landed off balance so she had to hop sideways into a lunge and her second pass wasn’t as controlled as it usually. Both of those deductions added up and it was a fair score for her unfortunately. Then on vault she hopped back which is an automatic deduction up to .1 and the judges decided to take the full tenth

Were there any regional upsets?

Would be a shame if Oklahoma didn’t advance

Georgia was knocked out of the regional semis by Arizona and Stanford was knocked out by Denver. So far, those have been the only upsets I believe. I’m hoping for a couple more (Denver over Utah, Cal and Bama over Florida, Mizzou and Auburn over Oklahoma)

Disagree. Coen’s routine was flawless. Not sure why the judges didn’t score it accurately

I just rewatched and I agree with you. She was so much better than 9.85. I don’t get why she seems to always get underscored.
