Idk it seems like OU and a bunch of other teams do the shortest simplest bar routines and get huge scores.

All the routines look exactly the same. I'm sure they are meeting requirements but it just seems minimal to get such high scores.

They were not going to let Chip win the all around, in Ok backyard.

Could care less about standings in this meet and yes ou will be favorite until the end
LSU is putting up a good score for future
That’s all that matters
Will see ou again at home and at sec championships
Will have to perform most at nationals where it matters

As much of a screw job the judges did on us. OU only won by .3!

I think this team is going to be the best. It just sucks knowing OU will get at least a half a point edge from the judges regardless.

I am convinced of one thing after seeing the scores,(I missed half of the meet) it's LSU and OU then everybody else.

One thing I think i know from only seeing half of this meet, OU is not .3 better than LSU, not even today with everybody missing events that did.

Eta: nice playback of that extra step for OU on a routine that I'm pretty sure got a 9.975.

And remember, Bryant isn’t 100% and only competed on 1 apparatus

Goal is 9.9 and stuck landings and be consistent. Allow the other teams to make mistakes

This shite has been going on for a decade. They do bread and butter routines and LSU has dynamic powerful routines which get underscored.

Florida could and should be the best team in the country this by far but somehow I’m sure Jenny will find a way to blow it.

Haleigh broke her leap connection, and then she did it. It’s still a deduction.

But Chio getting lowballed is something that doesn’t sit well with me.

They have to get Bryant, KJ and Coen healthy

Unfortunately with Konnor coming off the achilles injury and Lincoln being limited to only vault this year we aren't going to see the fullest potential of this roster. TO what we thought coming into this season unfortunately. And throw in not having Zoe Miller's bars and potential 1.5 vault

Love Livvy but I think she put chio behind the 8ball from the start. Judges normally don’t like to jump from 9.75 to a high number. That’s why coaches usually try to order athletes from lowest score to highest. Not jay though.

Are they the team that's ranked #3? I assumed so when I saw Cal and Utah at 4&5. I know they should be really good but haven't seen them yet this season.

On an equal playing field LSU can hang with OU but it’s never gonna be equal so all you can hope for is they miraculously mess up like they did last time at Nationals. By the end of the season we will have our rotations set so hopefully we will be closer to put pressure on them.

Not trolling, serious question because I have not followed gymnastics. Why would the judges give OU better scores?

They’re the blue blood and have connections everywhere in the sport.
Also, the meet was in OKC
Just imagine them like the deep state of politics

College gymnastics does not make money. They always use local/regional judges for gym meets.
Home cooking is a real problem in this sport.
