Was a rough night on bars, glad we could pull if off. Beam can be pretty special this year compared to other years.

I loved how we didn't let a fall on beam get to us, and got some solid scores so we could drop it. Then got some huge floor scores when it was neck-and-neck. Still some things to work on, but great showing for our first meet, especially against competition like OU.

I just checked the scores. LSU could be pretty damn good if Priessman can knock off her rust

The freshman will play a major role this season, Finnegan Priessman and Cannamella will all be VERY good.

Kelley from what I have heard will be very good on floor

I am pretty sure Priessman and Kelley had just came back from injuries so its not too concerning.

Not sure what they took off on Gnat's vault, looked great to me.

Why was Macadeag on vault? I'm assuming Savona is injured or nicked up.

Yeah, they said Savona had an ankle injury that she's still recovering from. That's why she only did bars.

I knew something must have been up with Savona, because she is usually at 3 event girl..... Especially on floor she is so strong

Great job by the ladies! I like the makeup of this team. Best opening night beam that I can remember. The judges were a little questionable on bars and beam.

On a side note, I was able to take a tour of the new facility after the meet. It is incredible. Recruits will be very impressed.

After seeing practices up close, beam and floor will be the strength for this team this year. We are pretty balanced. We can be pretty good on bars, we have the ability to do so. We were a little rusty on vault but it was the first meet, so I expect us to be much better eventually.

Priessman and Finnegan will be instrumental in our run this year, if both can be consistent and hit some good scores, I think we have a shot.
