Hate this guy, but, interdasting…

Outkick

quote:

Walker Howard Is LSU’s Future

Daniels was clearly better during August practices than sixth-year senior Myles Brennan, who left the team this week when he learned he would not start the opener and was third team. Daniels has put on a much-needed 15 pounds to get to about 200, but he has kept his speed and elusiveness. Brennan never had mobility and would have suffered behind what will be an average-at-best offensive line for the third straight season at LSU.

Daniels, though, does not have great touch or accuracy on his passes. Redshirt freshman quarterback Garrett Nussmeier does have good touch, a strong arm and can also move. He still remains erratic, but could develop into a very good quarterback before long.

Howard, meanwhile, has consistently thrown a better pass than all other quaterbacks this month. He has also been extremely competitive and wants to win every drill. He does not have the lax attitude of someone who may be red-shirted.

Howard is not ready to start against Florida State, but he could be ready by the Sept. 25 game at Mississippi State or on Oct. 2 at home against Auburn. Neither of those two teams will be great this season, nor will LSU

Why's this not a rule to ban people who link him to this site yet?

Guilbeau is generally retarded but he’s right about the accuracy concerns. Nuss couldn’t hit the broad side of a barn in 2021.

So get your 3rd string QB some early season playing time so your #1 and #2 QBs can't.

Did I read that correctly?

Guilbeau cannot even accurately read LSU's 2022 football schedule. He says we play AT State on Sept 25 which is a Sunday. We HOST State on Sat Sept 17.

Not the first time I’ve heard/read that he has the best arm in the QB room. But QB is about more than physical skills. Him learning his position for a year isn’t a bad thing.

He's a fricking moron. He also thinks Miss State isn't good. I hate to tell you but they're a sneaky trap team for LSU right now because they should be IMPROVED since they basically have their entire team back. He speaks in absolutes like he knows more than anyone else for sure.

He doesn't know what the Oline is going to be. He doesn't know how good Miss State or LSU will be. Typical low quality clickbait trash. LSU should ban him from practices/press conferences completely.

Gotta agree. Nuss to date has been erratic at best. If they both struggle and we’re 3 losses down by mid Oct, …why not give the most talented guy a chance to develop.

Shows how clueless most sports reporters are, this is one of the stupidest takes I ever seen. Walker himself knows he is not ready to start and throwing a guy out there who is not ready can ruin there career see Jarrett Lee

Howard doesn't have it mentally yet that's why. He even admitted himself he needs to redshirt.

Sounds like Guilbeau knows more than the coaches. Wished LSU could’ve hired him

Wow this sounds awesome and throw in a true Freshman should be starting. Sounds like people with all these expectations should probably lower them if this is the consensus already.
