If we have any shot at a national title Guice has to have a monster year.

AGREE^^^^

1600/1800 yds would be monster IMHO and, with the revamped O of OCMC, the passing game will flurish which will help with the run game.

The D will be better with 2nd year DCDA at the helm.

Either the glass is half full or half empty.

I would enjoy watching DG5 win a natty with this team but, the goal should be to win the WEST and everything will fall into to place IMHO.

He won't. He's already mentioned football as a way for him and his family to move out of their situation. He gone after 3.

Not all of them. There isnt a scout saying LF isnt a generational talent.
Try again.

The cutback isn't a cutback, it's the DESIGNED hole. LF is cutting away from the hole, therefore giving the illusion that a cutback is needed.

You have no fricking clue if this is true. Its laughable that you think youd know where a hole is supposed to be an not LF. My god we have the dumbest posters on this site. I cant believe you think you know where a hole is supposed from a still shot where you have no clue what the play was. All we know for sure by that still shot is there are 3 lsu oline 2 yards behind the los and another one about to be.

p. Look at 64, he is releasing up field to continue blocking where LF was supposed to go......

Youre fricking guessing and taking it as a fact. You dont know what the play was. Hell neither does greg McElroy. But its telling that 2 message board posters think they know where the play was designed to go over the best rb in lsu history. Its laughable.

Considering that Canada's offense will spread the ball around more, there is no way to be sure that he'll get enough carries.

Youre making my point for me.

2 of the 3 games he had 20 carries his yoc dips below his average.

And his cumulative average in those games is right above 8 yards per carry which is far better than Fournette in similar games.

There is a difference in thinking someone is great and expecting him to shatter the sec single season ypc( which is 7.1, those other guys didnt have enough carries to qualify) and breaking every sec rushing record.

I don't know that he'll break it or shatter it but I wouldn't be shocked to see him come close. I'd guess his season average will wind up somewhere between 6.5 and 7.3

Obviously that's somewhere in between very respectable and elite. We'll see what happens.

Yes, but that's assuming one game isn't cancelled next year, and he remains healthy.

I still cannot believe that 2 years in a row we had to miss a game!!

I don't think he'll get it, even if LSU makes the playoff. And it's not an indictment on Guice and his skill set. Canada is gonna spread the ball around so much. It's not gonna be like Buga with Miles. He'll get close but fall short. But fall short for the right reasons

I could see this

Hopefully he'll get a lot more looks in the passing game

If he's still returning kicks he could have a monster year in total yards

2008 yards is easier said than done without an SECCG appearance and bowl. Plus, I look for Canada to spread the ball,.
It would take a lot of carries which would mean that Guice would be worn out by years end.
