Larson seems like he has a wide open spot in the OF if he comes back.

What? If Stanfield comes back where you going to play him should Brown play RF

Frey IMHO is gone. Stanfield is a senior.

I only question if dickenson comes back. Don't know about pitchers.

LSU will need more power next year than a player like Stanfield provides. Stanfield becomes a late inning replacement next year which means he likely doesn’t come back.

In that same list Dickinson was a top 100 prospect. Unless he gets passed up in a major way from what the public scouts are saying in the draft or a massive bag in NIL he’s more than likely gone.

I freaking stand freaking corrected. Stanfield is listed by DD as a junior.

I’m assuming he doesn’t come back though.

You also have a JUCO transfer OF Daniel Harden who will factor in. Hearing he had a good season at the JUCO in Texas. Also, there is another portal pickup to play 3b forgot the name

Dickinson is not coming back. He and Jay have been very transparent about the recruiting proposition - 11 months to play his heart out and showcase his talent, and then it’s on to pro ball. And maybe it’s wishful thinking, but I feel like playing through the injury in the postseason will emphasize his makeup.

I hope that Larson returns - I feel like he will be the most likely candidate for the 1B role. I could also see Pearson at 1B or DH.

If you look at every team picture after a win this season Larson is standing next to Jay. I don't know if he seeks out Jay beforehand or the other way around but I think that says something. Also I'm pretty sure his GF is a Saints dancer or something

I’m not sure Larson comes back. Kind of feels like he could take the Paxton Kling route.

I would think if Frey comes back he could lock down first. He has a past at catcher, right? I would think former catchers could learn to dig balls at first easier than others and that could boost his draft stock

That’s a waste. If he comes back it’s to find a place in the outfield.

Dickerson was directly asked, mid season or so, if he was considering coming back: " I have dreamed about playing in the big Leagues ever since I was 3." The quoted comment from CJJ is 100% accurate as I heard it repeated on several podcasts as well as hearing myself.
