Is anyone surprised? I met Greg several times during his time with the Saints. He's a great guy with a great family. That being said, this is just good ole boy hire by O. It's getting a bit ridiculous.

Special teams coverage suffered big time from 2012-2015. Thomas Morestead was just that good to cover it up.

When he was added I think everyone knew that he would be the ST coach. I also think everyone was very disappointed since he was absolute trash for the Saints.

We should've been beating down Jeff banks door instead of letting him walk over to Alabama

Heard we're hiring his wife as equipment manager. His older son as TE coach, younger one is starting out as a GA....

What exactly would you call it? It's not like anyone was beating his door down when he got let go by the Saints.

Also, it's been a LONG time since the man has had to do any recruiting.

feels like we're headed back to the Edwin Edwards era of politics and LSU football.

Yea Bc special team coaching searches are highly publicized. Where do you people come up w this stuff. You don’t have any idea who reached out to him.

Did he design the other 100 shitty special teams plays we had last year too?

Well our special teams were so good this year so why would we want to bring in some new blood?

He was already on staff as a special teams consultant. And I can tell you with 100%, first hand certainty, that O reached out to him immediately after the news broke he was let go in Nola.

Did he design the multiple blocks in the back too? It was a basic wall return.
