Played his worst game in a while as a Tiger. Kellen mond early on, in the 4th quarter, and all overtime, was passing to Rodgers and Davis and especially in OT, Rodgers was killing Williams.

Its okay to say our best corner had a bad game. downvotes will commence, but I know what I saw.

Do I think he is all-American, yes. Do I think he is an absolute top 10 pick, no. He's as good Mo Claiborne but he's no Pat Pete at this stage.

DA should have switched to more zone in OT. Defense and esp the DBs were gassed. Bad Non-adjustment by DA

I agree. which is why I said it was his worst game in a tiger uniform. I think he is great.

John Battle out.
Others falling due to injury and what have you DURING the game. Even the greatest cornerbacks, guys "on an island" can only be so great without three other top-notch defensive backs doing their jobs too.

I thought he played really well most of the game, all your DB's made great plays on the ball in regulation. Can't fault a guy for missing a few plays on a 6'6 receiver in 7 overtimes.

Greedy wasn't covering Rodgers in OT until like the 7th OT.

Rodgers was killing Alexander, not Greedy.

Kendrick Rodgers is a handful for any DB when he's playing well...especially when the DB is gassed.

no, he was killing Terrence Alexander for the most part. he may have gotten Greedy once or twice in OT.

not having Fulton and a healthier Kelvin Joseph really hurt.

The rant is so bias, you cant criticize your own players without getting crucified.

Greedy did not play up to HIS standard. No shame in saying that. Did I say that's why we lost, no. Is that the reason a few drive were extended including OT, yes.

yeah, that guy (Rodgers) was killing the second stringers, and why they were covering him I don't understand it. Williams should have been on him, that guy killed LSU and he didn't start doing it until late when he caught that TD pass to send it in to OT. After that they kept going to him, you think Aranda would have made the adjustment on him.

Definitely impacted the game. More reason to get that 1st down to end the 4thQ.

What?

I'm simply correcting you in that Greedy was not covering Rodgers while he was killing us in OT.

That was all Alexander.

It is amazing how many people on this board think that when a WR catches a pass on a DB, that the DB is not good.

You can say this about every player in every game.

the longer OT goes, the worst defenses play. We know this about college OT, then everyone acts surprised. Even the 85 Bears would play terrible given enough OT periods.

And A&M was clearly targeting Alexander. He was the feature of nearly every highlight. Greedy got hit once or twice, but it was mainly Alexander. When they switched Greedy to rogers, A&M then went to Quartney.
