What if LSU was playing for the national championship? How is that situation any different? Would you applaud him sitting that game out, too? Since he has a daughter and all? Give me a fricking break.
Applaud it? I'm not applauding it, I'm saying I completely understand it.
And if Greedy decided the risk to his earning potential by playing in the national championship was too much considering his family, I'd understand that decision too.
I'd be upset as a fan, but I wouldn't bash him in the slightest.

Thank you for your service Greedy. Best of luck!

Lol People here are funny as hell. Guy will be working out getting ready for his future at the next level. Glad he will be getting ready to help his stock in the draft. LSU isn't playing in the playoffs glad he will be focusing for the next level.

Well, he got a free education (Something most would wish for), a bunch of free shite from many places, attention from the ladies, etc. Just to play football. I would say he owes LSU something. Everything’s a 2 way street! Can LSU quit on the players to save money?

Considering Greedy's career, I'd say he and LSU are even at worst.

he could have gotten hurt against aTm, oh shite, he should have set out of that game too.
Again, that was a scheduled game, not an exhibition.

Has any of bama's players sat out when they knew they were going pro and weren't in the championship game?
This is a new trend and Bama has been in contention for a title every year so this doesn't apply to them.

The exposure during the draft process alone will be worth it.

So his last moments of being a tiger was him throwing a tantrum after a pass interference penalty. Good riddance

Yea. Schools do it all the time

So much for “my brothers”. Shoulda dogged it off after the Bama loss

How can I judge him? I'm not going to the Fiesta Bowl, either! I'm going to watch it on TV just like Greedy!

For you top athletes, help a 5'9" white guy out with something... players projected as first rounders, what are they going work on as they prep for the draft? 40yds in a straight line??

'm in no way happy he's not playing. I would love for him to play and to be able to watch him one more time. But, I understand that it's 100% the right decision for him and that it doesn't hurt LSU in the grand scheme of things.
That's the embarrassing problem on this board. I don't think anyone is happy he is not playing but there's a difference between being upset and saying the guy is a coward, scum, no chest, selfish, no character loser (all of which have been said on here) who should never be let inside tiger stadium again.
People will be quick to tell you it's his right to leave and their right to criticize his decision and I agree with that, BUT to personally attack him is just way too far.

Agility drills, vertical jump, 40 yard dash technique, interview questions, etc.
There’s a lot to work on
