I just listened to the Vitale segment. They didn't hold back! I was impressed. I feared they would go easy on him. Unfortunately, they were dealing with a delusional old man that just likes to listen to himself talk in circles.
Again, great job representing the LSU Nation, Jordy and T-Bob! Y'all gained a fan today.

Pretty clear, about a minute in, how full of himself Dickie V is. It was disgusting.

The old man just filabustered the whole time. Pimping his own resume , hocking his book and avoiding questions. The guys were firm but respectful. They were the professionals.

I assumed Vitale was a delusional hypocrite, but then he went on live radio and made it clear I had much too high of an opinion of him.

They might have planned on it but the way Vitale entered the conversation in such an unprofessional manner they had to fire back.
I’m putting aside what he is saying about LSU and his inherent hypocrisy based on whether something is a “fact”...he was so completely unhinged and rude it was comical. I waited in my car to finish it because I thought he would hang up. I’m not sure why this old man is respected in the industry, his bias was showing and it sounded like arguing politics with a belligerent relative at Thanksgiving.
Back to the topic at hand, I’m just not sure where all of the outrage over the “problem” that a coach seemingly made an offer to pay a player, when his “solution” is that players should get a piece of the pie.
Lastly, TBob had the best comment when Vitale was blabbering about how we are taking away from our own team by concentrating on this, rather than the success of the team-TBob interjects by asking why are you tweeting about the black cloud over the program at halftime of the game?

Very impressive Jordy had the Self/Kansas situation lined up.. after Vitale deflected the first one.Dick just talked around and deflected the facts Jordy presented. Really a great job keeping his composure all the way through being BS'd

I felt they had a lot more to say and they had some great points to bring up that they never even got a chance to get to because Dicky V wouldn't stop talking. It was extremely unprofessional of him. I think he was afraid of having to answer any tough questions so his plan going in was to just ramble and talk over the host.
I think once Jordy and T-Bob knew what was happening they took the opportunity to just lay out their points right over him talking so that the audience members could hear it. It became an interview with Jordy/T-Bob and the fans with Dick Vitale looping in the background.
