Why don't the players just tell what really happened? That way, no one gets caught up in lie trying to match the statements of the other players involved. If the fight was justified, everything will be allright. If not, justice will prevail.

Not really true. When laywers are involved, you might say one little thing wrong and things can go to hell in a hand basket real quick.
This isn't common sense stuff anymore. This is the legal system. You have to do what your lawyer says and cover your arse every step of the way, even if you are completely right.

Well maybe they are telling the truth...maybe it's the "victims" that are lying.

First rule of being guilty ... don't admit that you're guilty.
No offense but your advise is terrible (assmuming that they did do something wrong). You shouldn't lie to the police, but don't volunteer excess information either.

I just hope all works out ok for those involved. I know we can TRUST the LAWYERS to make everthing allright.

If I am not involved, the whole world would know it.

Did I say that? No. I'm saying maybe they are telling the truth as to how it went down...I'm not saying they are denying everything.

I have no doubt in my mind, that the N-bomb was dropped by the "victims" and that is what literally kicked off the arse whippin. I think the guys were honking and yelling for them to get out of the way, players were being dicks by not moving, and the n-bomb was dropped, then the hammer got dropped on them.

I have a great idea.
You should post less.

Would you call 30 (or however many it was) college athletes the "N word"?

If I had to guess this is probably close to the story.
