It will be awesome. I remember being in the Lee camp and having a blast talking smack with the Jefferson camp.

Think again. Most but not all people today after knee surgery end up with stronger knees than before.

There is an inherent risk to LN being named the starter. He is more at risk to injury (past history and the fact that he will run more).

For this reason, I hope there isn't a starter named until both are in school next fall. Either that, or we 100% have packages for both QB's.

We simply are not in a position to lose either one of them.

LN's history with injuries is a factor here as well.

Once again, not nearly as big of an issue as some have made it out to be. His surgeries were performed by the top surgeon in the country, same one who does surgeries for the NFL players, not some intern at St. James Regional Medical Center.

I also disagree with the statement that he’s more susceptible to injury. He’s thicker, stronger, and 40 lbs. heavier than Brennan, and its lean muscle, not fat. Say what you want about his knees, but all it takes is one big hit or getting planted by one giant D-lineman on Brennan’s 192-pound frame and he’s done.

It's not about size, it's about exposure. They are cutting more, getting hit more, etc. You are simply running an offense that exposes the QB more.

The fact that we have so few QB's, makes it insanely risky to name LN the starter, build an offense around him, and then Brennan leave. And then, LN go down.

If I'm the coach, and have the expectations and pressure of the LSU fan base, NO WAY I do it.

I wish Orgeron would never have said that. This is going to be a thing for the next 5 months. He could've easily been talking about McMillan.

Sorry, but I’d rather have a 230-lb guy who can throw it and run taking hits it than a guy who is a 190-lb pure passer taking hits. I respect your opinion, though.

By the same token, I’d hate to have Brennan named the starter, LN leave, and have Brennan get ko’d due to his slender frame.

I hope Narcisse is the starter. I like mobile QBs because of what guys like Hurts can create out of busted plays to extend drives.
I hope Brennan is the starter. I like pro-style passing QB's that have a little pocket mobility and who can also consistently throw an accurate football into the hands of WR's, RB's and TE'S, can read defenses, learn the playbook and manage the Offense.

"Saving Busted Plays" isn't even on the radar as far something I'm looking for; it's such a small part of what winning a Championship is all about.

BTW, Hurts isn't an accurate passer, that's why he's on the way out.

Hadn't played a down of football in three years and hasn't played against an SEC defense.

He doesn't have anything, except the "It" he had at St. James HS.

All the Rant fartknockers are trying to create something that is not there because yall wish it to be.

This is college you can scheme a good passing game. 70% of the offenses out there do not require their QBs to be NFL level smart.

You can coach athleticism.

I say Let the best man win.

Realistically as good as Brennan looked his INT were just as bad.

He's had the physical tools (6'3 230, cannon arm, fast legs), and if he brings the mental aspect, we could explode in a more open offense.
IF IF IF IF IF

Lowell Narcisse will be Brandon Harris 2.0. Gonna be a lot of disappointed and clueless "18 and Unders" (That have never played a down of organized football in their lives) when it all goes down. And it will go down like that.

Meanwhile, there are several Youtube videos of Narcisse tossing 7 on 7 competitions. Had he bothered to check those, he could have seen the narrative that Narcisse wasn't as accurate as Brennan was bogus.
Yes, those 7 on 7's are most definitely the ultimate provider of evidence of sure fire QB accuracy in an SEC game.
