He didn't say that one of the two QBs would transfer at all. That's fake news. He said he had a couple of names of possible QB transfers. He was asked for their names and when he would possibly sign one of them. O responded that he would have to wait until after Spring practice to look into it further. That's all he said about that and nothing more.

This quote directly from The Advocate.
quote:

LSU could still be in the market for a transfer quarterback to join the team this summer. The coach has indicated in the past and did again Thursday that one of his current QBs could opt to transfer after spring.

"We’re going to see what happens this spring," Orgeron said when asked about a transfer quarterback. "Going to discuss that after spring."

So, out of all the great reporting Dellenger does, your telling me that this is fake news? Dellenger not only says he answered a direct question like this about a QB transferring, but says this isn't the first time he's done it.

Lowell Narcisse will be Brandon Harris 2.0.
So he's black and he can run, that means he's Harris? See I usually don't peg people like that, but I've seen enough of your posts to believe this is exactly what you believe

quote:

Gonna be a lot of disappointed and clueless "18 and Unders" (That have never played a down of organized football in their lives) when it all goes down. And it will go down like that.

This has to be the most overused old person quote on the Rant. Whether you have played football or not (btw I played on the DL) doesn't determine how much you know about the game. Plenty a coach never played a down of ball, some were good enough to reach the NFL level.

We know not what will happen, but maybe we'll finally get that dual threat type that has been winning many a championship over the recent years. As a matter of fact, outside of Bama who is loaded every single place every year, with a ridiculous defense and run game with 5 stars on 5 stars, Florida St is the only other college that has won a championship with a pocket passer since 2005. Even then Winston carried the ball 88 times that year for 220 and 4 TD, and was originally a 5 star dual threat that ran for 2350 yards in 3 years in high school (over 1000 as a senior).

If LSU expects to make a championship, it's a hell of a lot more easier, and more likely to do it with a dual threat. With that said, I think Brennan could be really good for us.

imo...This guy is one step away from blowing a knee out again, I doubt he stays healthy though his career at LSU.

Why would anyone ever say something like this? Is it so if he does you can say “see, told y’all”

Every player is one step away from blowing out their knee. You making these statements is coming across as you hoping he doesn’t have a healthy career.

contrary to popular belief, his knees are probably stronger than they've ever been. His related leg muscles are probably the strongest they've ever been, and they protect the knees more than ligaments.

Any player can get hurt. Hell a lot of injuries happen away from the field. If it's going to happen, it will happen. Who knows. But, why waste what could be the best talent since Perriloux if he's ready?

I'm confident we could when with any of the 3 at this point. I would not be angry in JM came out on top of this whole thing. Hopefully it wouldn't be just because he's a senior but because he's grown that much.

McMillan was a little better than MB because he can run. But LN showed nothing look lost.but to be fair our DEF just killed our OLall three QBran for there life all day.

For all the “mobile QB” lovers in this thread, so the two serious knee surgeries on both legs are of no concern at all?

They don’t get info, anybody can post anything they dream up and there’s enough idiots willing to fall for it.

I would love to see them both play a lot. It would be interesting to see how they would complement one another, and injuries are so common. Would love to see them share duties.

Dude this isn’t 1995. Many times the players come back from these injuries even stronger than before. Do you know how many NFL players have had one or multiple ACL injuries? Plenty. Ever hear of Tyrann Matthieu?

It's different when you're delivering the blows instead of taking them.

Sure, but surgery is pretty successful these days. Watson has two torn ACLs

Thomas Davis as well, but I'm sure there are just as many guys who have had surgery and stayed healthy.

How many of those had both knees injured?
How many of those are dual threat QB’s?
You moron, nobody’s saying people don’t come back fromknee injuries, but to suggest that Narcisse will be running like Jalen Hurts is stupid.
Now, go back to google and look up Dumbass, then try to quit being one.
