Amazing how so many will run with some bs thread started on the Rant like it was the gospel truth. I think I will wait until some meaningful evidence that a decision has been made on who will be our starting QB, and hope that whoever he is, he will lead the Tigers to a good season.

No he didn't. Way to run with bull shite you read on the Rant
So you are calling that poster that started that thread a damn liar? That's what it sounds like to me. Meanwhile, how do you know it is bullshite? Explain that to us would you please. Were you there?

Literally every year there are these camp reports and word of mouth rumors about how awesome our qb’s look and how accurate and pinpoint they look. Brandon Harris and Jordan Jefferson were first overall picks based on off-season rumors.
Even if the stories are true, and they probably aren’t, performing in a full speed game where the opposing defense is trying to murder you and you have to recognize coverages and make good decisions is a very different beast than spring practice when you’re in a red jersey and you know exactly what defense is doing and you’re going first option 90% of the time

Is a personal relationship necessary?
Can I not say Tom Brady has “it” if I dont Know him?

You can’t post hear say as fact on a message board without any proof but dumbasses like you will run with it and regurgitate it over and over again. That’s exactly how rumors get started on here.

We see these same threads every off-season. I'm pretty sure there is just a template where all you have to do is plug in a QBs name and it auto-generates a thread like this.

Very valid points. We will never really know until real game action. Some guys are pro bowlers in practice and clam up on game day. Rohan Davey was said to be the complete opposite. The one thing that scares me about Brennan is his size, not sure if he will be durable enough.

If a guy has a handful of Super Bowl rings, I don’t think a personal relationship with that fellow is necessary to say that he has it. I hope Narcisse or Brennan , or both, turn out to have “IT”, but I think i’ll Wait until they have at least won a few SEC games as a starting QB before even thinking that might be the case.

I thought that article stating a QB transfer was bull. It would truly be a mistake to leave LSU just simply bc someone won the job over you, and it will likely be very close. If ANYTHING happened to the starter, you could get your chance and shine. Anything could happen. The starter could easily struggle in one game and you come in and light it up, from then on take the reigns.
Even out Junior QB doesn't have much to gain by leaving LSU. If he would transfer, at least get your degree and then leave.

Why don't you provide a source where Jarvis Landry said that about Narcisse? Otherwise you're just making crap up.

Kid has got "it" IMHO
What makes you say that? He hasn’t played competitive football in like 3 years.

I've wanted a legit dual threat QB for years. If Narcisse has really improved his accuracy a lot, then it's a no brainier. He's had the physical tools (6'3 230, cannon arm, fast legs), and if he brings the mental aspect, we could explode in a more open offense.
Without any known beast in the backfield, an extra running threat would really be appreciated this year.
ETA: My gut says that Brennan wins and Narcisse transfers though. Until I see Narcisse play, my mind is still thinking distant 2nd.
I see Narcisse knowing by the end of spring how it will play out.

I imagine they will both play and whoever performs the best with “the lights on” will be the starter.

Im highly skeptical about LN knee's
I'm more skeptical of the people who think he should be the starter when he hasn't played much in 3 years.

So much talk and buzz in the spring. But same offensive QB results every year.
Put up in the fall or shut up.

McMillan may bolt if he graduates this year... he would be a graduate with a year of eligibility

What are u implying. Is that old fricks want a white QB? What if there are old black fricks do they want Brennan too? What a ignorant comment
Posted on 3/16/18 at 2:01 pm to Cajun Catfish
If LN can throw then he easily gives us the best chance to win the west and there is no debating it. A true dual threat in college just opens up the playbook so much more.
