he's not coming back any time soon. the GJ will consider all the evidence, and will not determine his innocence/guilt, but simply look at the whole picture and determine whether it is a probability that a jury could find a crime was committed. "probability" is hard to define, sometimes 30%, sometimes 51% chance.

given the testimony and video camera evidence, could be a chance for an indictment.

oh, and yes, this is nothing more than spin from the defense atty. of course he's going to find whatever he can to help his client in the public opinion race.

lets let this thing play out. again, 'playing out' will take more than a week or two. sorry, gents.

I feel like any reasonably prudent reader in this thread could deduce from my post that the Tennessee game was used as the chief example but that far more instances of terrible decision making from Les Miles exist. So as to not beat a dead horse, I gave the most extreme, and allowed you to fill in the rest in your own comprehension of my point.

Was that the game JJ ran for a long TD?

It was. Is that rhetorical? I fail to see its pertanence, if so.

And yet Les's poor decision making has contributed to how many wins in his tenure?

I knew what you were saying I was just trying to find a creative way to say I disagree with the overall premise. I know for a fact I couldn't have done a better job with the shite sandwich Les has had to work with for the past 3 years.

Found Hillar Moore's interview on the news interesting... paraphrased he said that he definately thought that the GJ would be able to make a decision based on the information given...

as if it was a slam dunk one way or the other...

then again, he sees GJ decisions all the time.

jmo to his comment.

Refer back to my first comment. It was made to highlight the fallacy in this exact train of thought.

Yes, Les Miles gets good results as a football coach and does things very well. No, I couldn't win more games than him as coach and neither could almost anyone. But does that mean he's infallible and that we have no grounds to assert that some of his calls are wrong ones?

I couldn't win nearly as many games as Dooley either but did I think he was smart to send 13 men on the field? No. Neither was Miles smart to try to substitute there, and I move that he wasn't smart in his evaluation of quarterback talent last year. I may not be right, but it certainly wouldn't be because it was in discordance with the infallible Miles.
