Me either, its disheartening to pin a team over and over inside their 10 yard line only to see us get torched time and time again with the deep ball. I think we should not bring up DBU anytime soon.

It was not a pretty win, but it was a win. I honestly didn’t think they would go up there are do it.

Great job O and crew!
is this honestly what it’s come to? Celebrating a tight win against an SEC bottom dweller?

Good god.

Do you think Bama, Clemson, or Ohio State fans would feel like this?

If we can take care of ole miss at home, hopefully we can steal one out of 3 of the big boys.

Big boys? Are you calling A&M and Florida big boys?

We bettered the backups backups of a bad team. Incredible feat,

Well we are actually playing with backups, or perhaps more accurately guys who are playing 1 year ahead of time. LSU has from what I counted I think 68 scholarship players. Stop and think about that.

To the downvoter, let me spell it out for you Charles and Jacob Phillips were 4th and 5th round picks last year, those type of guys came back for BAMA. If they stayed, they are starters, Chase, Shevlin, and Vincent opted out, they are starters. The Center for Miss. State signed for LSU, he transferred, we have a Harvard transfer playing Center, Ika left during the season, J. Roy I think started today, he is a true freshman.

That is 7 guys right there. Finley played well, he was the backup QB to start the year, that is 8.

Lots of guys who would be in the 2-deep are gone, so yes, LSU is playing with guys who would be backups who are playing meaningful snaps. I am not defending O or the coaching, having this situation is ultimately on them, but the reality is LSU if I counted correctly only has about 68 scholarship players.

There are your garden variety troll posts

And then there’s the whiskey-humor ones that aren’t really as funny as they seem

We had 3 weeks to get ready for this game and no improvement.

Did you miss the game. Don't form your opinion on what doom and gloomers say.

There was much improvement over the last game.

O coached the best football team in LSU and maybe college history. His best was better than anyone who ever coached at LSU.

How far has LSU fallen when our own fans don’t consider LSU one of the big boys.
