It would be interesting to look at the percentages. I've heard new bats 60% less powerful average that with the 96 team HR.

I love that our guys are developing their ability to hit the long ball- Jones with two doubles, Katz and Breg with HRs. Reminds me of the days of old, but alas, we will never get to see the 100+ HRs of the glory days, ever again.

Everyone knows the bats are different, and no one will come close to numbers of the 90's, probably not even the 2000's.
On the other hand, we are leading the SEC in homers, so to me that is Gorillla Ball enough.
