1. we should finish well this year. 10-3 and 6-2 ain't bad.
2. defense will be awesome. yes, we'll be starting some new guys in the secondary, BUT, the dline looks to be so awesome they will help them out as they adjust.
3. even though we'll have to get a lot of new skill guys started - qb, rb, wr - we look to have a great offensive line starting. now, me, i'd rather have a great oline with inexperienced skill guys than vice-versa.
4. I expect our coaching staff to remain relatively intact. we replace pete Jenkins and we add a special teams coach.

after some early disappointments I've enjoyed the season. I am planning to be able to enjoy the last 3 games.

go tigers!

Any year that includes a loss to Troy and a 30 point loss to Miss St is a bad year.

The secondary will largely look the same IMO. Battle will probably be becoming back, we'll have a new CB (Surtain/Kirklin/Fulton) and Nickel (Vincent/Lewis). Defense should be tremendous next year barring injury.

Then we probably still ruined our chances at a shot at the playoffs because we lost to Troy and Mississippi State.

Did they cancel the end of this season or something? There is January - August to worry about next year.

The time is now Chachi.

Time to move on. Look to the future and quit living in the past.

Agree we were beat up
On dline and still learning the offense. The way people talk Canada will be gone so I guess a new Offense will soon be coming again.

I get that but we - fans - need to move on from those. Can't change it but it looks like the team learned from it and they're much much better.

I'd like for them to close out this year strong and roll into the Miami opener hungry - something to prove.

Miss St and Troy ended up being huge character building moments for this team and hopefully the program. The coaches and team rallied and have shown a lot of heart ever since.

Just let it go. Every team in the NCAA has lost to a large underdog at some time in their history. You come across as a miserable person and a fair weather fan. This was positive post and you jump in to rain on it.

I agree. Barring injuries, the D-line should be pretty deep and nasty to deal with. And that will only make the rest of the defense that much better.

Fingers crossed on this one. I heard a disturbing rumor that Canada may leave after this season due the earlier disagreement between him and Orgeron. Hopefully, his generous pay package will keep him here.

You’re right. We should never be excited about next year. In fact I think we should self impose the death penalty and be done with it.
