Good place to get breakfast and drinks before the game?

Haven't been to an LSU game in a handful of years. Traveling to Baton Rouge from Texas. I was wondering where a good place would be to grab breakfast and a Bloody Mary before 9 AM (want to see the band march down the hill). Thanks in advance!

Chimes actually has baller brunch. Those chicken and biscuits are great.

Chimes is great. Ruby Slipper too.

Chimes is opening at 9:00. Puts a squeeze on pregame. Wish they were opening earlier.
City Slice on Chimes Street has a nice bar, but I'm not sure what time they're opening up. Unless they're providing a special menu, they're more pizza and calzones, not breakfast foods.

Masons is a little ways from campus but is fantastic for breakfast and cocktails.

blows and their owner is a cocksucker. You'd never eat there again if you knew what he let go on in the kitchen.
Another broken egg and ruby slipper should be open and serve drinks.

Chimes wouldn’t open early for this game? I feel like LSU home games are kind of a big deal for LSU’s premier restaurant.
