Now that we are almost a full day into a meltdown. Let me hit you guys with the good and bad news.

Bad News: Our defense is so shite we could lose every game left on the schedule.

Good News: Our offense is so good we could literally win every game left on the schedule.

Buckle up baws. It's going to be a crazy season

Imagine if we had an average D. We would win the natty.

Coaching decisions stood out last night-
With everything that happened, still had a chance and controlled the game on our last drive….instead, coaches failed to run the clock down, piss poor rollout call, and probably should have gone for it on fourth down to end the game and secure the W

But that's never how it works. All flash offensive teams with no defense never win every game. LSU is headed for a very pedestrian 7 or 8 win season

This offense is light years ahead of 2008.

But hell the 2008 defense looks like the 85 Bears compared to this.

Save 2019, the years LSU has a great offense (which is not all that often) it usually seems to be saddled with a garbage defense…

We’re a glass cannon this year and that’s probably not going to change.

I do think the D has too many glaring issues to win the West.

However we are about a year to the date of Tennessee boat racing us at home.

Not a single soul had us winning the West after that. So who knows, but our offense can win us every game we have left.

Lots of folks wanted Lincoln Riley. You didn’t get Riley but you got his brand of football.

We've played one good defense so far and scored 24 points, right? That would barely get it done against Grambling

24 points in the season opener doesn't tell the full story. We had multiple goal to go possessions we derped.

We also don't really play any teams with a formidable defense the rest of the season except Bama perhaps and they can hardly complete a forward pass.

I don't think the offense is perfect but there is no world where 49 points shouldn't win you a game.

I agree with LSURep864. We have a really good Offense but a really bad defensive group when it comes to fundamental tackling and being out of position. Get ready for more of the same in future games.

I don’t think the offense is all that world beating. It’s too Jayden-take-off-running-centric and can be stopped by a defense with a pulse.
There are no players on offense who look like first round picks
