You had a great first year, looking forward to a lot of wins from you. Thanks for your contributions this year and see you on the mound next season. Geaux Tigers.

He got us to Omaha. Without his outstanding pitching as the third starter the Tigers would never had made it there.

its hard to project a RHP with an 87mph fastball as our friday night guy for 2 years. Id almost bet he wont hang on to that role

He will not be the Friday night guy

He needs to bulk up and get his velocity up. Kids got a lot of heart and pedigree to be a stud for us!

Lester, with that prediction, you likely secured this young athlete the role as a legendary Friday night starter who'll excel over the next two years.
Lester, can you get more dumb?

I know, im just saying its hard to pitch at 87 and expect consistent results like he put up this year.
not trying to be a dick. just trying to temper expectations

He is implying what everyone is holding their breath over. Tommy John surgery. IF it turns out to be that he probably wont pitch next year
Posted on 6/21/17 at 8:47 am to couvy1
yeah, i thought maybe i missed an announcement.
Posted on 6/21/17 at 8:52 am to MorbidTheClown
I don't think there was an announcement other than he will see a dr and get a MRI when they get back. Praying for the kid that its just muscular and he takes the summer off and right back at it in the fall.
