Big rain coming in Friday. Some models have Baton Rouge getting over an inch. Something to keep an eye on.

One thing we do know is that Jay Johnson has been more proactive than Paul was with the weather forecasts. He'll make a decision as early as possible and live with it

Jay's main concern is that Holman needs to go on Fri to give him the full week rest before SEC play against MSU
If he goes Sat then he likely limits his pitch count a little.
When is rain supposed to come because knowing Jay he will move it to Fri at 11 or 12 to beat the rain.

Oh man, we all know CJJ can’t coach around rain. Look what it cost us in the CWS last year.

For those who can’t tell, that’s sarcasm.

Does not compute. Are you from here? That’s less than a summer shower. Plus the field has a top of the line drainage system.

Not really. Jay will handle it. Just let me know when to come to the ballpark, boss.

Truth! I was there for Supers last year, and it was weather-delayed for hours! Most of it was lightning related (I think we got a small smattering of rain), but the field was in perfect shape when the weather cleared...

Clearly he panics. Using Skenes in game 1 of the regional will clearly come back to bite him.

Who down votes 5 days of recovery btw starts?? That's all he needs. That's not really a short rest. There will be parts of the season he goes Fri night one week and Thurs night the next.

OMG what will we do when we play Arky starting on Thurs when we just played UF (Fri-Sun). Heaven forbid we get any weather during that series. Hate to run into any adversary or anything.

No shite it is better if he more days in between.

I don’t disagree, but I downvoted anyway because I enjoy seeing you triggered.
