The LSU marketing department is who comes up with these promotions, and they're not particularly good, but I think it will look cool on TV.
And for the record, the "Gator chomp" looks pretty lame too when you see it on TV.

Maybe, but it's also possible that this was requested by a sponsor to have a gold towel promotion during the Bama game.

I agree except in one instance...
When the blonde in the orange/blue (can't remember because it doesn't matter) dress does it in super slow motion it looks pretty sweet.

For may part I don't care what they do or don't do at the Swamp or anywhere else. I want our Admin to recognize the things that make LSU and TS on Sat night special; and then cultivate and enhance those things.
