We beat the brakes off some gumps

We've actually done this a few times too, you just have to watch out for that one gump that's waiting for that perfect cheap shot when your not looking and then runs away.

Yeah, and this is so much better than when we play OOC opponents from Pac or Big10, even UNC versus ACC. They start crying about how well we are stupid and our players probably wont even be eligible to play soon

OP - you do realize your entire statement could be reversed right back @ LSU fans in BR, don't you????

"Getting in your face" and "violating personal space" is the MO of LSU fans, and apparently that's totally fine and acceptable, according to your own......

I haven't seen it, at the stadium, gas stations or anywhere else. Do you have an experience to share?

I went there last year with my 8 yo granddaughter. She left to go get ice cream and some 50 year old gump started cursing her out and made her cry.

Wonder if this is the same fan that dressed up in P&G and made the trip to Dallas and made the Oregon fans grandaughter cry........ I would bet on it being an Auburn fan posing.

When they were not as good (Dubose- Shula years), it was a great road trip. They were cordial and I always enjoyed the trip.
However, since they have become relevant again under Nicky, they are awful.

I went to BDS in 1993 when they were the defending national champions and riding a 30-game undefeated streak. We were underdogs by 20+ points, but pulled the upset. I didn't have any problems with any Bama fans before or after that game, and I talked to a lot of them.

The only time I've seen us lose at Alabama was 1995 and, again, I didn't have any problems with any of them.

now Florida fans are a different breed

I was at the Bellagio in Vegas and sporting my LSU cap. Well a group of girls for Florida (yes, hot, but no, I dont have pictures) took the cap off of my head and started stomping on it. This was during the TeBag years. I was actually amused. There are silly fans for every school.

The following year LSU fans were throwing stuff at UGA fans and knocked one off his motorcycle etc.

Are you saying that's okay because of what some other Georgia fans did the year before?

I hope not.

I hear ya... There's times when "keeping it real" and being a parent conflict. It good to teach them to take the higher road. Just don't let him be bullied.

Went to Bama the first year Nicky was there. Had a great experience, with just a few F' LSU when we were walking out of the stadium after we beat them. Wish I was going back this year!!

I went to Bama in 07, one of my fav road trips! Went out the night before the game with no problems, houndstooth I think. Had no problems they day of the game before or after. Sat in an all Alabama section and had no problems. Went back to the bars on the strip after the game with no problem at all. I will say though the day of the game, down the road a good ways from the stadium they had an area dominated by LSU tailgaters. The LSU faithful we're out in the street getting crazy messing with cars jumping on people's vehicles and at one point had some Bama fans get out their car and then the Tiger faithful beat the shite out the Bama fans until the cops came. That was my only trip to Bama and it was very enjoyable, it always helps when we win!

After the game is 09 was a horrible experience. From the responses it sounds like that was a bad year to travel there. I'm going back in 2 weeks though.
