Haven't posted in a while! But, had to for this as a dad of two children. I was there at the game. Losing a parent, let alone both, is the height of tragedy and pain! I hope the kids gain strength to overcome, become great individuals and make their parents proud. Donated! God bless the family.

Don't know if I'm doing this correctly, I may be replying to Red Stick Tigress...if so pls share. GaSo Eagle fan here...and now a lifelong LSU fan! I, along with thousands of other GS fans are totally blown away by the generosity and kindness of the LSU Tiger Family. To "The Mick", what an incredible thing you've done. Your heart must swell with pride when you think of what you've accomplished. In fact, to all of the Tiger Nation family, your kindness is amazing. Again, from this big LSU fan, thank you!! GEAUX TIGERS!!

Thanks for the link.
I love all the media attention this has gotten.
God Bless the 3 who lost their parents way too young.

Thanks. It is nice to hear your feedback on this. I think we all identify with the Hagans in one way or another. First, I guess, as football fans who often travel to follow our teams, and many of us also have college age children (mine coincidentally are also named Josh and Madison). I lost my dad the year I graduated from LSU, when my little sister was only 12, so we often try to do a little something for someone in his memory. God bless the family and everyone who has come to their support.

If ESPN hasn't already run a story, I'd suggest The Mick contact Scott Van Pelt on Facebook. He's a big LSU fan and most likely to get it done.
