WISH-GRANTING ORGANIZATIONS
The process to be granted a vacation to Give Kids The World Village begins with a wish granting organization.
Give Kids The World Village partners with over 220 wish-granting organizations (WGO) and foundations to make the Central Florida wish a reality. Families that visit Give Kids The World must be referred by one of these wish-granting organizations or foundations. Children ages 3-18, battling a life-threatening illness as deemed by a medical doctor are eligible, regardless of income.
A welcome reprieve is just a phone call away.
Below you will find a list of domestic and international wish-granting organizations and foundations. Please contact your local organization to learn if your child is eligible for a wish, or call 800-995-KIDS, and Give Kids The World can refer you to the wish-granting organization or foundation in your community.

Giving the family piece of mind that they can do things like buy take-out dinner weeks on end when they are in the hospital is a big deal.
Dealing with a sick child is expensive as hell in a whole lot of little expenses that never seem to stop coming.

Honestly we have blown through every goal set. Started at $5k, went to $8k, $10k, and now $15k. The Disney trip will easily be paid for but I want to keep it going to be able to give all the excess to help relieve the cost of medical bills and all other expenses.

Update everyone from my end at least!
We were able to contact Mrs Danielle and Drake today a few minutes after the Fiesta Bowl organizers FaceTimed him! FB has REALLY stepped up, they are covering everything but the flights, spending money, and rental car!!!! Thank God and dedicated Tiger and Knights fans!!!
Thru FB our little soldier will be attending not only the game as the “FB MVP” but also a NBA and NHL game, as well as being the MVP for their FB parade!
That said, let’s keep up the Lords work! Like Benton said this GFM will also be much more than enough for the FB trip, but will enable us to give the remainder to the family for medical expenses, food, Cmas presents, or whatever they want.
Like Benton I dove into this head first with no net, and have been absolutely floored at the response! While hoping for just enough to scrape a young man and his parent to a bowl game, we’ve been able to accomplish much much more! His whole family will be able to enjoy this time with Drake!!! In Mrs Danielle’s words “she can’t imagine having anymore tears to cry over what we’ve done”.
Keep up the good work!!! I’d love to raise 10k plus on this GFM also! GEAUX DRAKE GEAUX TIGERS GEAUX KNIGHTS!!!

You should contact the airlines and see what they can do. I know Southwest has stepped up in the past for similar situations.

The numbers speak for themselves (combining the 2 GoFundMe campaigns): as of 12:30 AM on Saturday morning almost $20K raised from 614 people. After having my parents go through battles with cancer, I can state with certainty that every dime raised will help this family. Also, the family must be getting some comfort in seeing how many people are donating.
