Just was rewatching the home runs from last night and after every one of them he immediately ran over to our dugout scowling thinking he was preventing the players from storming the field. He even said something to Pearson I couldn’t figure out what it was. On top of that his zone was all over the place. Screw that guy.

The best was the Georgia player mouthing off to our dugout in the 9th inning when they hit home run to tie it up
The ump didn't go after him

More like a piece of shite. In all my years of watching college baseball I don't remember ever seeing a worse umpire. He screwed Dylan big time on the strike three call and Fat Boy on his full count pitch. His strike zone was all over the place. WhereTF do they get these guys? Walmart greeters could do a better job?

I still cant get over the same batter having a breaking ball that started over his head and caught at the letters called a strike, then two pitches later getting called out on a third strike that started at the belt and was caught almost on the dirt.

I didn't think either one was a strike, the kid struck out

For these guys, the moment is all about THEM

I have a theory that the more emphatic and gesticulating an ump is when K-ing someone up, the bigger an insecure douchebag he is

Considering the ump was obviously trying to help UGA win, he was decently fair. That is what an ump with a bias looks like.

To be fair, they both look like strikes based on that angle.

Still trying to figure out how the Cooper pitch was called a ball.

At least one person on this board says this every single game no matter how well the game was called. The guy last night did suck but most of the time this place hilariously overreacts when it comes to officiating

Is there usually same ump behind plate for all 3 games in a series? Meaning, do we get this d-bag for 2 more games?

They definitely rotate. Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe they rotate via the 2nd base ump - the one that wears the mic and announces outcomes on reviews. (You'd think the home plate ump would be the top guy, but apparently it's the 2B guy that's the chief ump.) So last night's 2B ump will be home plate ump tonight.

I was at the game behind home plate. Home plate ump lost all control of what his strike zone was. He could call the same exact pitch a ball and strike back to back. It was bad.

The Southeast Conference should be able to employ the highest quality of officials in the three major sports. Each official should be heavily vetted. There is absolutely no reason the best conference can’t do better.

While our pitching besides Skene's has left allot to be desired, the SEC umpiring has been terrible this year.
I watch parts of other games besides ours and the umpires have really squeezed the strike for everyone, but very inconsistent on how much they squeeze it. A good example is the ball 3 pitch on Crews was a much better pitch than the strike 3 was.

This is the cause of so many high scoring games and home runs, the pitchers have to come down the middle to avoid walking the batters.

It was like he was looking for his Dylan Crews moment to tell all his fat arse friends about when DC is a Cy You g winner.
