Your logic to keep Helenihi in was a winning streak though. Why didn't the winning streak matter for Hanover? I'm sure you also thought we should not bring in Nola or Mahtook or Helenihi 5 games ago for that matter.

I said compared to Hanover you moron. You're like MSNBC or the NY Times...

Seriously...go check and see what Hanover's fielding percentage is over the last month...and get back with me...

quote:

Hanover doesnt go into 0 for the century slumps. Helenihi is a bad hitter who masks deficiencies by occasaionally hitting a first pitch fast ball hard

I bet Hanover is hitting under .250 over the last month...once the scouting reports about him were solidified...

And some of you, who obviously must know much more baseball than him, want to change things when we're one win away from a National Championship. Think about how stupid that sounds.

Oh shut the frick up. Joe Torre and Tony Larussa get 2nd guessed after every fricking game they manage, by douches a lot less qualified to question them than me.

Also, most of you totally underestimate the value of having solid defense in baseball. Contrary to the "gorilla ball" threads, this isn't 1990s baseball. You have to play good defense.

And all that great defense would have gotten us beat 7-5 if DJ hadn't gotten that 2-out double.

Amazing how rantards will talk non stop shite about Mitchell, but God forbid you think helenihi needs to sit since he's the driving force behind the winning streak even though we won most of the games without his "gold glove"

LSU is on a 14 game win streak...hasnt had an error in the CWS and you morons are wanting to change the fukking lineup? Seriously? What a bunch of ignorant fukking morons you guys are...really..absolutely retarted fukkers who dont have a fukking clue about baseball. Why dont you fukking losers just go jack off and save us all from your stupidity...

Guys I understand the don't rock the boat mentality but cmon the guy can't hit. He was terrible last year in the post-season two remember? And he didn't come out of it. If he's gonna stay in the line-up mainieri should tell him to not swing at all so at least maybe he'll walk

Because Hanover started misplaying ground balls that PM thought Helenihi could handle. My winning streak argument wasn't so much for Helenihi, it was to let PM make the same decisions he's been making all year because those decisions have us one win away from a National Championship. This is a moot discussion...Helenihi will be at 3rd tomorrow night regardless of how many pages this thread goes.

I dont think i said .230...but .275 or so sounds about right for when we were talking about it...

Im sure he was batting close to .200 at best against them for a long time and that's being kind. Maybe he got a few walks by not taking the bat off his shoulder...

But Hanover has definately not been swinging the bat well over the past month..not enough to make up for his sub .900 fielding percentage.

These fricktards won't change anything if we keep winning. Thank god for the awesome relief work we got tonight. Thank god for the great clutch hitting we got from J Mitch, Dj, and Mahtook. It's obviously all due to Helenihi's great glove that made one play tonight. If it wasn't for that one out he made we would have definitely lost this game.

Those douches may be bigger douches than you, but they are infinitely more qualified to question them than you.

And if Hanover would have been at 3rd, we may not have made it this far...just because there wasn't a stout defensive play at 3rd tonight that saved the game doesn't mean there won't be one tomorrow night. We have enough offense as the lineup is...it isn't worth adding more offense to downgrade our defense.

i told u a few weeks ago that when his OBP was 480 that there was no way it could be that low, but you couldnt understand simple math
