So why didnt we replace Nola when he was struggling mightily at the plate not that long ago? Was DJ really that bad at SS? Did Shimpf improve our defense in the outfield by benching Landry? Did we really start winning consistantly because of a defensive move as SS? Or was that all a bunch of crap?

Like several others on this thread, I was dumbfounded when PM didn't pinch hit for Helenihi with the bases loaded and the game on the line.
And then to pinch hit for Nola, who has been swinging the bat very well as of late ... I don't understand it.
