Pretty slick play the Tigers pulled off at the 5:17 mark. That team was LOADED with talent at the skilled positions, and as always a STOUT D!! THE ROAR OF TIGER HAS ALWAYS BEEN AN AWSOME EXPERIENCE!! You gotta live it..

Man that's an old video....the funny thing about it was here's Ole Piss fans waving the confederate flag then the video cuts to LSU getting ready to run out the tunnel and they had black cheerleaders.......stark difference.....

Go to hell Ole Piss.........

These two games, along with Halloween Billy Cannon punt return, were the good old days of LSU/Ole Miss rivalry.

(from The Advocate)

Dec. 5, 1970: LSU 61, Ole Miss 17 - As oranges rained down, the Tigers clinched their only Southeastern Conference title under coach Charlie McClendon. Tommy Casanova returned two punts for scores, Craig Burns another, as the Tigers clinched an Orange Bowl bid.

Nov. 4, 1972: LSU 17, Ole Miss 16 - “Entering Louisiana,” read a sign put up on the Louisiana-Mississippi state line after this game. “Set your watch back four seconds.” Bert Jones somehow got off two passes in the final four seconds, the second to Brad Davis for a 10-yard TD as time expired. Rusty Jackson’s PAT left the Rebels singing the “One Second Blues.”

GO TO HELL OLE MISS!!!

This game NEEDS to be put back on Halloween weekend. Just too much tradition with this rivalry and that weekend.

I grew up in north Louisiana so I saw lots of LSU/Ole Miss games in Jackson at Memorial. There would always be lots of signs on both sides of the field telling the other where to go.
