Were you bitching after we beat Ohio State?

or those other games I mentioned?

You are a spoiled bitch. Teams lose football games. The best coaches lose football games. Talented teams lose football games.

Get the frick over it.

the 06 team especially, there was oodles of talent on that team, i look back and still can't believe we didn't win an NC

you make it sound so easy

Be fair. Auburn 06 was EASILY his worst coaching outing prior to this year. It was so fricking retarded I was ready to kill the bastard.

Let's see. We have a team that had TWO WRs drafted in the 1st round AND Jamarcus Russell playing a team with one of the worst pass defenses in the SEC.

So, what was the plan? Yep, run, run, run.

I swear to God, I thought the guy lost his mind that day.

A. Except I did not expect the recent meltdown. I've been a doubter but not a hater from the beginning. Last year there were reasons for concern but people forgot about them because we won the NC. And results like that trump the problems that were there. We needed some good fortune to make it to that game. But that's usually the case for any championship team. And this season we had some bad fortune before the season even started. So I still don't think he's a great coach. But I still think he can be successful and I hope he will be.

A.) - but I don't know if I would call it "recent". IMO the season's fate was sealed when he promoted those two to be the co dependent coordinators.

I really don't think any discontent you have with him is because of results, but more to do with you just not liking him, more than you want to admit.

Answer the question.

You people have no perspective. I can easily put things in perspective for you.

no, i for one won't list shite for you. there's no such thing as a flawless coaching record, and all your gonna do is pick on whoever people choose.

i know you have a real point though, go ahead and make it.

We should have gone undefeated last year. There is no that Kentucky and the Razorbacks should have beaten us. Go back and look at those games. VS Kentucky Scoot rushes for a 100+ the 1st half. Then miles didn’t even play the dude the 2nd half. That’s bad coaching. I can go on and on and on...

D) Miles won me over with gutsy efforts the first two years--especially the hurricane season of 2005--and last years NC sealed the deal. I have confidence that he will right the ship.

Lester, it's not the losses. It's the trends that we're seeing...that we've BEEN seeing all season.

Someone above said it best when they said that the NC made us "forget" all of the problems from last year.

Like the VASTLY underperforming defense in the latter half of the year.

Like the "come from behind" victories that should have NEVER been "come from behind"...you know, where we relied solely on our superior talent to win games??

Like the apparent lack of preparation for MOST games, which caused a lot of the aforementioned "come from behind" victories. We were much better than UK, Auburn, Florida, Alabama, Arkansas, etc. last year, yet we had to scratch and fight to get a win.

D) Miles is the head coach of LSU, and as with other coaches at LSU, I will give him the benefit of the doubt that he is making decisions that he believes are best for the program.

Like I said, uneducated. No perspective. It's an ongoing cycle with people that just do not understand football.

And SEC football at that. We werent "much" better than any of those teams. Get your head out of your arse.

I voted A. No matter who I list, you'll say that Les out performed them over the past three years. Just don't forget to take this year into account when you run your data.

How about Carrol, Stoops, and Mack Brown. All have the same # of BCS titles as Les, more conference titles, and none gave up 50 points twice this year.

come on Lester, you know most of our guys could've gone straight to the NFL out of high school while the rest of the teams in the SEC have a bunch of rag-tag talent that probably couldn't make it at ULL...coaching is the difference!
