You can give him his due and also not fellate the guy at the same time. Kelly is the most accomplished and qualified coach that the LSU football program has ever hired. Even more qualified than Aranda.

Why would u want to say crap like this when we have already hired a coach? Only puts out negative vibes. We have got to be the worst fanbase for this shite that is constantly spewed

Lots of coaches have success early on when taking over a good team. That’s the easy part. The hard part is doing it 4+ years after as you only have your own players. The biggest knock on Aranda has always been recruiting so it will be interesting to see how that team looks in a couple years. Until then, I’ll be pulling for him. He’s seems like a good guy and coach.
CBK had sustained success at Notre Dame and that is what makes him so attractive as a coach. Few coaches have that these days. In the 30 years he’s been a head coach he’s been climbing and winning consistently. In that time, LSU has fired 4 of its 5 coaches.

If you’re scared just say you’re scared. If not Aranda, glad that LSU got Kelly. They are both great coaches

The ONLY way you can say that is if he was a choice. You can't go into an Italian restaurant and after the meal say: "I made the wrong choice - should have had the sushi". So many fans grading BK before he's had a chance to prove his worth. I'm glad we finally have an adult in the room instead of the past two cartoon characters that thought it was about them.

Really down Texas, OU not OU of the past, really down TCU, Texas Tech an afterthought, KState mediocre, and OSU’s Qb is just not real good. The Big 12 as a whole is crumbling away in 2021.
Baylor’s last Big 12 championship was a more accomplished one, but go ahead with the prisoner of the moment crowning of Dave as the next Saban.
I like DA, think he is obviously a good coach, and am happy for him.

A year from now Baylor will be in the CFP. We'll be 8-4. Not saying we won't win the SEC in '23, just saying that Aranda may well be the next Saban--and with a much worse team. He was one of our own, and we let him get away.

People who say this are absolutely ignorant of how big business works. Dave Aranda was not in consideration during the first round of coaching candidates and he should not have been. Dave simply does not have the body of work, his risk profile is too high, right now. I think he will do well, and hope he does return to LSU one day.

I love Aranda and I'm sick of hearing about him. Shite we got a great coach, there are a lot of good coaches in this business. You can't hire all of them.
