I get it, but you could have read this board after the UT game and came away with plenty of examples of LSU fans being disgusted with Kelly.

There is no sane football fan that could make the case for hiring Napier over Kelly, unless money is an issue. Which, is obviously not the case.

Kelly was a slam dunk hire vs Billy. We needed a proven head coach at the highest level. Billy was a hope hire. Kelly will be successful, and Napier still might be.

The fans in the stands were mad at the performance and some of the coaching decisions, but the ones around me understand this process will have ups (Florida) and downs (Tennessee)
We will have more ups and downs this season
