First time we've beaten the Gators in the Swamp in daylight since Arnsparger was coach ('86).

Its also the worst - by far - UF team during that time period.

I know. UF is not a good football team. But it's still been rare.

Does that make up for O losing to these same Gators at home last year or losing to Troy this year?

No.

And realizing how bad UF is this yesr this win does nothing in my view to restore confidence in O. That said, it was good to win in daytime there.

I have no hope for Orgeron. I just hope LSU plays good football for the rest of the year then fire Alleva.

Rare because how many opportunities are there? And yes this Florida team is not just bad but had 15 players out.

Florida typically loaded in the 2000s

Since '86, there have been eight daytime games vs the Gators in the Swamp:

'88 (I think Hodson threw two pick-6's in this game)
'92 (Jamie Howard at the helm)
'94 (blowout)
'96 (blowout - Gators won NC)
'00 (blowout)
'06 (reminiscent of last year; so many stoopid mistakes; Gators won NC)
'12 (simply no offense)
'17 Victory!

LSU isn't very good either there genius. O deserves credit but again it's more about the effort of the players not the coaches. The coaches can only do so much with what they are given and at this time, as a team, that isn't much given the styles these coordinators want to implement. It's just not. I'm not saying we don't have talent and that we couldn't have done a better job overall in the offseason because both are true BUT in another year or two this team will resemble what these coaches want much better. You'll see that our coaches really aren't that bad. The teams that are winning right now, are teams that have been the most consistent from the top down so give it some time and if you don't like it tough shite. Lol

Well if we have a good rest of the year well then why the hell would you want to start firing people that have now gotten things together?

Who the frick do y'all think y'all are? Some football geniuses? My god you have no idea how much it effects a team when you start firing everyone and you bring in new coaches, schemes, players, all over again. It would set our sophomores back to freshman basically. You people are so damn dumb.

Yeah let's fire a bunch of coaches that turned the season around lmao. That will get this team believing again. How about y'all just keep screaming how much they suck and then they can prove you wrong every week. Let's just keep that groove going. But once they turn it completely around don't come back to their side either, stay where you at.

Even if we won out, Alleva still has to go.

Not a single person posting before you in this thread - show me WHO said above that we have to fire Orgeron?

YOU'RE the only one here talking about firing coaches

I agree! If coach O wasn't a bad coach his predecessor would have left him better players on the offensive line and better players on defense. Thus, it's all coach O's fault because he's not good coach retard!

What about giving Alleva credit? Wasn’t it Alleva who called the meeting to get everyone on the same page?

When you have to divide up wins by time of day in order to give your coach a pat on the back, you know you're reaching.
