Was that his final line or is he still pitching?

He's at 6IP 6H 1R 1ER 1BB 3K 0HR on 93 pitches. Pirates batting B6.

ETA: Apparently everyone was on this.

6 hits, 1 ER, only 3 K’s with one BB in six innings.
Respectable but not stellar.

But only his second MLB start.
He’ll get better as the summer progresses.

is the Pirates catcher bad? Skenes has a lot of strikes called balls. especially his slider

Not bad.

Sorry for you, but it's good to see him be able to get some outs without relying so much on Ks.

What's the score? Is he in line to get the W? Although the Pirates would probably need to have a nice lead by now. Their bullpen has been atrocious in his previous starts.

You can’t be serious. Every manager in the league would take that performance nightly. Especially from a guy making his 3rd start. They pulled him with 93 pitches. He’ll start going 100+ after a few more starts. Easily could’ve gone
1-2 more innings. Strikeouts are nice but they also drive up pitch counts.

3rd start, his 2nd start he had 6 no hit innings with 11 K's. Pretty damn stellar

Pirates bullpen just took away his win.

... AAAAAND he'll miss out on the win because the Pirates bullpen is a dumpster fire.

Riley Cooper ain't walking through that door...

No, an outing with a 1.5 ERA is stellar

He's actually doing pretty decent in starts and long relief in low A for the Orioles. Him and Money are on the Delmarva team. They have a bunch of guys they piggyback start, and those two are holding their own.
