What’s the best route to get back to River Bend neighborhood off Brightside during football contraflow? Will they allow you to turn onto Brightside from River Rd. or Nicholson?

Dude the traffic is minimal after baseball games, just use river road

I’m asking about during football season.

Honestly I would just walk. It’s a hike but it’s doable. I did that when I lived at Lake Bea Pre.

Would be faster, most likely.

Well shite, how was I supposed to know that
I haven’t taken that route in years so can’t offer much help. The best bet is to just take some bikes along the levee. You’ll be home before most can get out their parking lots

I already do what you advised for baseball games hahaha
That’s a great idea actually. Sadly, May come back and the bikes would be stolen.

Couple cheap bike locks and you’ll be fine

It's a bitch to get there after big football games. Just walk or hangout on campus after the game

Depends on where you park.
Some hop on bikes and ride the levy.

When I lived there, River road was the best option.

I just ride my bike on top of the levee to the vet school. Just go to the park in the back of the neighborhood and you will see the walking path that connects you to the levee. I lock my bike up in front of the LSU police station

Take a nap in your vehicle until 100 AM

You’re not carpooling with your neighbor Skip?

Traveling back to a neighborhood off Brightside after a football game? Hell yeah, I’d just walk. You’d get home a lot faster than fighting that traffic and a lot less aggravation.

I walked to the 2014 Alabama game from Lake Beau Pre. Longest walk back after the game ever.
