Get to know William Schmidt a bit better(Interview)

William Schmidt appeared on The Golden Boot Podcast last night and talked about his progression, why he chose college, who he wants to face the most, and even had a brief appearance by Derek Curiel. William is a good guy and his future is very bright.

Considering his recruiting ranking, and draft projection added with the insane reaction when he withdrew from the draft, I assumed everyone knew him. But that is what assuming gets me.

Saw him pitch once at Catholic. He was as dominant a HS pitcher as I’ve ever seen. I never thought in a million years he would make it to campus.

This was a rare occasion. Generally the two on top do the interviews. We had talked about joining forces for a while for a collab, so usually it isn’t like this.

Schmidt is rare like Crews in that historically he's not supposed to be here. Let's see if he can convert that considerable potential into a similar outcome.
