I think it's a Nuss/Daniels battle too. But how much of an NIL gravy train is there going to be for a backup QB? That part of your premise doesn't make much sense.

I think we're all just on the LSU "bus". We don't care who the starter is as long as we're winning games.

does not compute with

I think you should finish the season, unless your draft stock is on the line.

If you believe that, then you must believe it is acceptable for him to keep his redshirt and have 4 more years vs 3. Having 4 full years vs 3 full years and 4 games has to help his draft stock.

uh, so a player owes it to his teammates to finish the season .... unless he's really good and might be drafted???

Wow, that's some mega inconsistency right there.

Besides, no rational person would want a guy to blow an entire year of eligibility on a crappy bowl game, when half our team was already missing and it was a ghost coaching staff, after Orgeron was fired. I've got zero problem with Nuss not playing. That bowl game was an utter joke anyway, whether Nuss played or not.

NIL is about brand and name recognition, MB has that here in BR because he's been here for 5 or 6 years and everyone knows who he is. If he decides to stay here and not transfer, do you really think Hollingsworth Ford is going to call him and say, "Hey Myles, we saw that you lost the qb battle, we're going to need that F250 back that we gave you." No, they're probably not going to say that. He also has deals with Cane's and Rhoback that I would imagine he would keep unless he transfers
