You've been a member of this board for less than 15 days and I'm supposed to believe that you were a fan since the freaking Y.A. Tittle days. Give me a damn break.
I can remember football since the Mike Archer days. I can vividly remember sitting in the stadium with my dad during the Curley Hallman days and listening to him say "What the frick is THIS???". I can also remember the happiness in his eyes when LSU beat Michigan St in the Indy Bowl in 1995....we both thought LSU would never get there again.
Then I can remember sheer jubilation on both parts in the Superdome in 2003. Then 2007.....then we realized that we had had it pretty good for over a decade. We thought LSU was poised to be a program that would be in the top 10 for years to come. Then the next 10 years happened and here we are.
I said all that to say this.....where we are right now as a program is much closer to where we were in 1988 than to where we were in 2011.

Awesome LSU316. I was right there with you brother. I here what your saying. Problem is you just need to say it once and move on. What do you actually think you can do about it? Do you think what you are doing here is good for the brand or bad? Not asking about what O does or anyone else. Just your actions.

All I can do is make my voice heard via every avenue I have. That would be monetary and vocal avenues. I'm one guy and have no delusions that I make a difference. However, as a small part of a bigger movement I think we could sway things.

I don't reflect on the brand whatsoever. I'm just a single guy reflecting my opinion. The overall fanbase of LSU, of which I am a part, is incredibly horrible for the brand. That is true in good and bad times though. Right now the overwhelming bad is in the acceptance of mediocrity. I can't sit back and actively participate in that....if that's what ya'll want to do go ahead. However, be forewarned that is the bad you are talking about.

So what number on the Orgeron PR team's Rolodex is this narrative? There seem to be maybe 3 to choose from.
I think the actual "real" fans already have a list of standard responses for this one:
1. Real fans root for LSU not the coach.
2. Real fans care about the decline of the program and are therefore obligated to speak up about it.
...and several others, etc etc
